I have had many requests for a firefly so this month I am sharing my Firefly
with all of you. Your going to need:
1 260 (any color, I like red for this)
1 Citrine Yellow (or White) 5" Round
1 Citrine Yellow 5" Stars Around (Any color, again I
like Citrine)
1 Clear, Citrine or Gold 160 (I used Gold)
Start by inflating the 260 leaving abount a 6" tail and tie off. Make a 1" ear
twist and a 4" bubble and loop twist it. Make a 1" bubble the three 4" bubbles
and form a bird body. Now make two 1" ear twist, pop and tie off any leftover
balloon.

Inflate the Citrine Stars Around to about 3" and squeeze the air to the top so
all you see are the stars. Tie it and then twist it into the 1" ear twist to
form the bottom of the Fire Fly. Inflate the Yellow 5" Round to about 3" and tie
it off. Split it into two equal bubbles and wrap it into the 1" ear twist on top
of the head for his eyes.

Inflate the 160 leaving a 1" tail and tie it end to end, split it in to equal
bubbles. Wrap one end to the top and one end to the bottom of the bird body to
form his wings.

Now as you can see on the finished product I used a White 5" round for the eyes
and a plain Citrine Yellow for the bottom. I did this to show everyone there's
more than one way to do the same sculpture.
NOTE: This design is based on Garry Gardner's (Professor Wonder) Firefly.
Hope everyone was able to learn something new.
